The story

VR Express started in Sofia in 2015 as an XR production studio. For a decade the work was immersive training, simulations and branded experiences for multinationals in pharma, banking and FMCG — clients whose tolerance for a broken demo is zero. That constraint shaped how we build: verify before you ship, and never hand over something you have not tested yourself.

In 2025 we pointed the same discipline at AI. Rather than adding AI as a service line, we built products with it — more than twenty now, across knowledge management, CRM, health, trading and digital identity, most of them on Lovable with Supabase behind them. Every one of them is something we use ourselves or sell to real users, which means every one of them has had to survive contact with production.

That is the thing we bring to client work now. Not a deck about what AI could do, but a portfolio of systems we have already had to keep running — and the scar tissue that comes with it.

What the client needed

Our own problem, not a brief from outside: everything we captured in one AI tool was stranded there the moment we switched models. We wanted a memory layer we owned — queryable from any assistant, and built to outlive whichever one was current.

The outcome

Shipped on Lovable + Supabase as a live product: web app, Chrome extension, Obsidian plugin and an MCP server, so one knowledge base answers from ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor. Public repos, and the memory layer we run our own work on.
